As a Sunshine Coast-founded, female-led business, supporting local women in business sits at the heart of who we are. Having proudly supported the Sunshine Coast Women’s Business Network in previous years, this year we’re thrilled to deepen that partnership as the official Event Wear Partner.
To mark the occasion, we recently welcomed around 20 Awards finalists to our Sunshine Coast flagship store for an exclusive after-hours styling event. For one special night, we closed our doors to the public and created a private shopping and styling experience designed just for the finalists.
Before the event, each finalist selected their top three favourite styles from our website, which our team specially brought into store for them to try. With a glass of bubbly in hand, some nibbles to enjoy and an entire store to themselves, the finalists were free to browse, try on different looks and find the outfit that made them feel their absolute best.
What made the night truly special wasn’t just the dresses. It was the atmosphere.
The fitting rooms were filled with laughter, honest opinions and genuine support. Women who had only just met were cheering each other on, sharing advice and celebrating each other’s achievements. Many shared that it felt less like a shopping night and more like getting ready with a group of girlfriends before a big night out.
Every SCWBN Awards finalist was invited to receive a complimentary Billy J outfit for the Gala, regardless of whether they were able to attend the Style Night.
Now, with the Awards Gala just around the corner, we’re so excited to see these remarkable women walk through the doors feeling confident, celebrated and ready for their moment.
