We've grown from strength to strength in the past 9 years and continue to see record sales both instore and online. Our team of over 100 employees work across our retail store, warehouse, and creative office all locally here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

We are looking for a bright and creative Graphic Designer to design and create content for our marketing strategies across all channels. The position is full-time, based in our Kawana Waters office on the Sunshine Coast.

Your day-to-day:

  • Designing and creating graphic content and assets for social media platforms, marketing campaigns and our website
  • Designing and updating other marketing materials such as lookbooks, brandbooks, or catalogs
  • Designing banners
  • Retouching e-commerce images where required
  • Editing videos
  • Drafting copy
  • Designing and implementing EDM’s
  • Uploading and distributing content to social media
  • Managing social media response

Your keys to success:

You will be able to deliver a creative direction that is closely aligned with Billy J’s brand aesthetic and voice to optimize impact and resonate with our audience.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop and InDesign
  • Previous entry-level industry experience in relevant graphic design preferably in fashion industry, consumer, e-commerce business, or publication
  • Understanding of best practice graphic design in web-based applications, social media, e-commerce, user experience and offline in print formats
  • Other creative media experience and competencies such as videography or photography will be advantageous
  • Highly organised and efficient with strong attention to detail and process management
  • Sound communication skills
  • Interest in learning and taking on broader marketing tasks

Your new role:

Are you an expert at motivating others? Want to assist with leading an essential team in a fast-growing fashion business? Billy J is on the hunt for a 2IC in our Stock Receiving department. We are searching for someone who thrives on a challenge and who has skills which allow them to successfully assist with managing a large team, navigating change and growth, problem solving and people performance.

Your day-to-day:

  • Support the department manager to oversee and manage the receipt of incoming stock orders
  • Assist with managing and coordinating team members
  • Assist with department goal setting and strategy
  • Train and develop team members
  • Report on key department metrics
  • Identify, triage and manage any process, system or procedure issues
  • Support overall operations and maintenance of the warehouse in conjunction with other departments
  • Assist with process and people improvements
  • Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of a positive and productive environment
  • Support the manager with rostering and timesheets
  • Assist with the management of compliance and accuracy of record keeping for stock receipt, inventory movements, or purchasing
  • Assist with managing product priorities and online store inventory deadlines
  • Perform and cover stock department roles as required

Your new role: 

Are you an expert at managing people and getting the best out of a team? Do you want to assist our Operations Manager with leading our fulfilment center which powers our fast-growing online fashion boutique? Billy J is on the hunt for a Warehouse Manager to coordinate warehouse operations. We are searching for an expert people manager, someone who thrives on solving problems and someone who has the skills to successfully coordinate our warehouse teams and daily warehouse operations to maximize operational efficiency.

Your day-to-day:

  • Support the Operations Manager to oversee and manage the warehouse operations
  • Manage and coordinate warehouse departments
  • Assist with goal setting and strategy relating to warehouse operations
  • Train and develop team leaders and team members
  • Report on key department metrics
  • Identify, triage and oversee the resolution of day-to-day operational issues
  • Manage and maintain warehouse workplace health and safety standards and compliance
  • Oversee and coordinate stock and inventory management such as regular stock takes and cycle counting
  • Work with senior management to develop procedures and processes to improve standards in running of the business
  • Manage performance and conduct issues in conjunction with the people and culture team
  • Support overall business operations and strategy in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with process and people improvements
  • Contribute to the promotion and maintenance of a positive and productive environment
  • Perform and cover warehouse duties if required

Your keys to success:

  • Exceptional people management skills – previous people management experience is essential
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability and ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Sound oral and written communication
  • Previous experience with process and system creation and improvement
  • Previous warehouse management experience would be advantageous
  • Previous e-commerce experience, particularly in fashion, would be advantageous
  • Experience with a warehouse management system such as PeopleVox would also be a big plus, but not essential
