Our team of over 100 employees work across our retail store, warehouse, and creative office all locally here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Your new role
Billy J have an exciting opportunity for a Store Manager to lead our incredible flagship store in Kawana Shoppingworld!
As a Store Manager you will be responsible for managing our in-store team to ensure exceptional customer experiences are delivered to every customer that enters our store. You will develop and maintain an engaged and high-performing team while ensuring a positive work environment. You will also ensure compliance with operational standards, manage budgets, and drive operational efficiency.
Your day-to-day
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales performance of the retail team - Manage inventory levels to optimise stock availability and ensure timely resupply
- Manage and maintain store visual standards and presentation
Achieve operational excellence by implementing and maintaining operational policies and procedures - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including visual merchandising, marketing, and branding standards
- Assist with hiring and developing a high-performing retail team
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members to maintain high levels of motivation and engagement
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment where employees feel valued and recognised
Your keys to success
- Previous experience in retail management or related field
- Strong sales and customer service orientation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions autonomously
- A passion for fashion
- An understanding of the Billy J aesthetic and/or brand is desired but not essential

Warehouse Manager +
Warehouse Manager | Full-time | Billy J Headquarters | Sunshine Coast

About the role:
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for a range of duties relating to stock control and tasked with achieving a high level of stock integrity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the stock movement across B2B and B2C channels
- Managing the process of receiving stock, new deliveries and returns into the warehouse, checking to ensure this is accurate
- Managing stock transfers
- Responsible for arranging the dispatch of stock to customers
- Ensuring stock is dispatched for the e-commerce site
- Achieve a high level of stock integrity by managing inventory
- Triage and manage, or oversee the management of, issues such as machinery, equipment, IT, software or building issues.
- Heavy lifting will be required
The ideal candidate:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role within retail
- Experience working across people management
- Needs to be dynamic, proactive, solution focused
- Be responsible to training and managing staff
- Knowledgeable of various couriers and distribution services
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Stock management system knowledge – PeopleVox software preferred
