A Powerful Afternoon With Purpose
Back bigger and bolder for its second year, the Loanright Legacy Lunch is much more than a long lunch - it’s a celebration of empowerment, generosity, and lasting impact.
A true highlight of this year’s event is keynote speaker Lisa Messenger - entrepreneur, author, and founder of The Collective Hub. Renowned for her inspiring perspective on resilience, ambition, and creating your own legacy, Lisa’s message is set to leave guests feeling empowered and motivated. Alongside her keynote, attendees will enjoy a beautiful three-course dining experience, live entertainment, and Golden Hour drinks in an afternoon designed to connect, inspire, and give back.
Supporting Destiny Rescue
At the heart of the event is Destiny Rescue, a charity dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking and exploitation, while providing long-term recovery, education and reintegration support.
The work they do is truly life-changing, and through the Legacy Lunch initiative, the Sunshine Coast community has already helped fund the rescue of dozens of children. This year, the goal is to go even further.
We are incredibly honoured for Billy J to play a small part in supporting an event that is creating real global impact through the power of local community.

A heartfelt thank you to Loanright Financial Services, Destiny Rescue, and every sponsor, supporter, and attendee who helped bring this event to life. The Loanright Legacy Lunch has raised an incredible $74,000 for Destiny Rescue across its 2024 and 2025 events. With the average cost of rescuing a child estimated at $2,100, this contribution has directly helped rescue 35 children from exploitation - a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together.
