We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with BLOOMED for Bloomhill, a Sunshine Coast event that brings together women in support of Bloomhill Cancer Care through a shared celebration of purpose and generosity. Now in its third year, BLOOMED has become a meaningful and much-loved part of the Billy J calendar.
A Celebration of Colour, Style & Sunshine Coast Spirit
Held at the stunning Elysium Hotel Noosa, this year’s sold-out BLOOMED luncheon welcomed more than 200 guests dressed in a vibrant display of colour, florals, and elevated event styling. The room was filled with energy, femininity, and joy, creating an atmosphere that beautifully reflected the spirit of the event.
This year’s luncheon raised an incredible $120,000 for Bloomhill Cancer Care, continuing the event’s strong legacy of community-led impact.
Inspired by Love, Built on Legacy
Founded by sisters-in-law Maritza and Melanie Barone, BLOOMED was created in honour of Melanie’s late mother, Maria, whose love of flowers, particularly hydrangeas, remains central to the event’s identity and meaning.
That inspiration continues to shape BLOOMED today, bringing together beauty, remembrance, and purpose in a way that resonates deeply with the Sunshine Coast community.
Across three years, BLOOMED has now raised more than $200,000, directly supporting Bloomhill Cancer Care and vital nursing services for local families navigating cancer.
